Description:
St Andrew’s Parish Church was built in 1799 to replace the then ruinous Forest Kirk which stood in the old kirkyard opposite the Hub. The old name of Forest Kirk has recently been adopted by the local churches because of the recent re-organisation by the Church of Scotland.
Further Info:
A small peaceful Dementia Hub community garden can be found at St Andrew’s Parish Church in Carluke’s Mount Stewart Street. The support the hub offers is for the whole family at any stage – and also at times of bereavement. People are welcome to attend with or without a diagnosis and carers and wider family members are always welcome too.
